The Martha’s Vineyard Figure Skating Club is busily preparing for its 26th annual Ice Show! The show will be Saturday April 5 at 6pm and Sunday April 6 at 1pm, showcasing our tots, Learn to Skate, Bridge Program, freestyle skaters, Alumni and of course, our friend Snowplow Sam. Skaters are rehearsing each weekend and are excited to show all they’ve accomplished this season!
A few of the freestyle skaters will be in Rockland, MA on March 30 for the South Shore Open competition. This is the only competition of this season for some skaters – we wish them luck!
On March 28, eight of our skaters will participate in an official US Figure Skating test session with judges from the Boston area. For two skaters, this is their first test.
We would like to thank all of our volunteers, sponsors, skaters, their families, our coaches and the Arena staff for a wonderful season. We look forward to July!

Just because the kids don’t have to go to school this week doesn’t mean they need to stay in the house. There is no better way to get out and get a little bit of exercise and fun all at the same time. Get off that couch, put down those video game controllers and come to the arena and put on some skates! The same goes for you parents as well! We are offering a public skate every day of vacation week along with some open stick sessions! The times for these events vary a little bit so please check out the schedule on our website http://www.mvarena.com/schedules/ for more information or to contact us. Enjoy the break and enjoy the ice!
